AYEN: BORING MACHINES & DOWEL INSERTERS

The Magnum is a great labor-saver for anyone doweling cabinets or furniture together. The Magnum is virtually jam-proof. One squeeze of the trigger injects a metered amount of glue into the interior wall of the drilled hole and then inserts the dowel to an exact depth. The automatic cycle feeds the dowels and drops them singularly conveyed through the delivery tube to eliminate jamming. The dowel goes into the hand held gun where a hardened steel pin presses it into the hole. 

Ayen's SKB50-2 is not only a dowel boring machine but also a versatile machine for drilling lines of adjustable shelving holes, hinges, KD fittings, mitres & angles, middle shelves, frames, mitre frames, millwork, and drawers. The Ayen DBE-23 can drill both horizontally and vertically with insertion of the dowel completed in a single cycle.  Additionally, one of the DBE's optional features allows for the machine to drill holes and insert dowels on an angle.  This versatile machine proves its value by allowing insertion of the glue nozzel into a hole before spraying begins and by possessing the capabilities to drill/insert into long parts or pieces that were previously hard to work with.  Changing over to a different dowel size is quick and easy, too - taking less than a minute. 

Ayen's ECO-21 features a 21-spindle gearbox & Ayen's unique open-sided design.   This revolutionary system allows you to use the massive fences on the front or sides of the machine, thus making it an excellent line and dowel boring combination and allowing you to do projects that are impossible to drill on any competitive machine.   With the open-sided design and Ayen's unique system of mounting the fences in either doweling or line position, the change over between line, frame, and dowel drilling is easily accomplished.   Solid wood projects like exterior raised and stile doors can be doweled with absolute accuracy, and it's made all the more easy due to the ECO-21's ability to support long parts with Ayen's heavy fence support casting. 

Precise and efficient line drilling requires a machine that has speed, flexibility, and ease of use. The rugged and economical Ayen ELB 32-23 meets these demands perfectly. The heart of our unique ELB is the proven sliding drill head design. The gearbox, motor, cylinder, and clamps all ride on a pair of ground and hardened steel shafts with linear ball bearings. Drill head movement is so smooth that you can set it with one finger! The ELB can grow with your production and because it possesses the ability to produce 180 parts per hour, it will be quite some time before you grow out of it. The open design of the ELB Series permits loading from 3 sides and requires only one operator. 

The LBM 32-23 is the most popular of Ayen's series of line boring machines.  The LBM's lifetime-hardened spindle drilling unit slides smoothly on linear ball bearings and massive ground & hardened shafts.  The part support table requires no set-up or clamp movement to perfectly reference the drill depth.  This allows the operator to position the drill head almost instantly, anywhere along the depth of any size panel in less than a minute.  The taper pin locks and then stops, positively locking the drill head to a tolerance of 0.1mm (.004").  The LBM is much faster for custom work than setting up a double head machine because you can always keep several pre-sets "locked in."  This feature also means that it requires less tooling, training, and thinking to use.
